A thoroughly entertaining LinkedIn post by Tim Turner discusses the recent publication of emails held by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) Interim Chief Executive, Paul Arnold MBE, regarding the absence of Information Commissioner John Edwards. The publication was in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request submitted via the WhatDoTheyKnow website.

Three redacted emails are included in the release: Commissioner Edwards' email to Paul Arnold ahead of his stepping back, Arnold's response, and his subsequent notification to two colleagues.

The details of the emails are largely procedural.

Do check out Tim's post, though, particularly the comments.
