TUC introduces AI Bill to protect employees

The Trade Union Congress (TUC) has introduced a Bill calling for stronger workplace protections for employees concerning artificial intelligence (AI). The TUC Artificial Intelligence (Employment and Regulation) Bill explains the reasons behind the need for legislation and how it could benefit working people. 

The proposed Bill aims to guarantee people's protection from the potential risks and harms of AI-powered decision-making at work while ensuring that everyone benefits from AI's opportunities. The Bill's proposed principles of consultation, transparency, explainability, and equality have widespread support among British workers.
