CMA review of Google's Privacy Sandbox reveals competition concerns

The UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has released its latest quarterly update report on Google's implementation of its Privacy Sandbox commitments. The report confirms that Google cannot proceed with third-party cookie deprecation until the CMA's concerns are resolved. The report also highlights areas where competition concerns remain and summarises stakeholder views on various proposals. The CMA has raised the issues with Google and intends to work with the company to resolve its concerns.
