Meta updates user and privacy settings, ads controls

Meta has announced that it is to centralise a range of user settings across its Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger platforms. The update is intended to make the process of changing settings more consistent, as well as demonstrate to regulators that it is making it easier for users to manage their data. Meta is also updating its Ads controls to help people see how their activity is used for targeted advertising.
