Australian privacy regulator sues Facebook over alleged privacy breach

The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner is taking legal action against Facebook for alleged violations of Australia’s Privacy Act 1988 for leaving the personal data of 311,127 users exposed. The case relates to Facebook and the Cambridge Analytica scandal.
