Didier Reynders and Věra Jourová appointed interim EU leadership roles

The European Commission has appointed Didier Reynders and Věra Jourová to take on interim digital leadership roles. Reynders will take over the role of competition commissioner, while Jourová will serve as the executive vice president of the commission's digital portfolio. The appointments are being made as Margrethe Vestager takes a leave of absence to pursue the presidency of the European Investment Bank.
