OECD publishes privacy-enhancing technologies report

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has published a report on Emerging Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs). The report, part of its Digital Economy Papers, examines and evaluates recent technological advancements in different types of PETs, looking at their challenges, opportunities, and current regulatory approaches. The OECD's objectives are to support privacy enforcement authorities and policymakers in understanding how PETs can be used to raise data protection standards and overall data governance.
