NCSC publishes new guidance for managing supply chain risks

The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSC) has published new guidance to help organisations understand the impact of cybersecurity risks on their supply chain. The guidance comprises three sections: Foundations, Application, and Consolidation. The Foundations section includes 12 principles of supply chain security that provide organisations with an understanding of the fundamentals of supply chain cybersecurity. The Application section outlines the five steps to developing a supply chain journey, while the Consolidation section advises organisations on creating a supply chain map to manage cybersecurity risks in their supply chain. The guidance provides essential information, advice and additional resources to help organisations secure their supply chains.
