44% of cybersecurity specialists find the DPA18 complex, time consuming

New research from Infosecurity Europe has revealed that around half (44%) of cybersecurity professionals are struggling to comply with cybersecurity legislation due to its complexity and time consumption. A survey of 200 IT security decision-makers analysed perspectives on 12 cybersecurity-related regulations, with three-quarters of respondents finding the UK’s Data Protection Act (DPA), NIS/NIS2, and the EU Cybersecurity Act to be 'somewhat complex.'
