The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has opened the third phase of its generative AI consultation, which focuses on the accuracy of training data and model outputs.
The ICO is concerned that people might rely on generative AI models to provide factually accurate information about others, which can lead to misinformation, reputational harm, and other negative impacts.
The consultation period will end on 10 May 2024.
