The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has launched the fourth phase in its consultation series, focusing on data subject rights in relation to the training and fine-tuning of generative artificial intelligence (AI). The consultation highlights the rights individuals hold under data protection law, along with the obligations placed on organisations developing or deploying generative AI models to ensure that individuals can exercise their rights.
The consultation closes on 10 June.
