ICO launches new data-sharing campaign to safeguard children

The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has published information about a new partnership with education, law enforcement, and social service organisations to increase awareness regarding responsible data sharing to protect children from harm. The new campaign: 'Think. Check. Share.' is intended to debunk myths and demonstrate how data protection law can help organisations share personal information while safeguarding children and young people. The campaign's resources, including posters, videos, infographics, and social media content, are being shared with frontline staff working closely with children on a daily basis.
