ICO and EDPS sign Memorandum of Understanding

The UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) and the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen their shared mission of safeguarding data protection and privacy rights. The MoU builds on existing collaboration through forums, such as the Global Privacy Assembly and the G7 Data Protection Authorities Roundtable. Under the MoU, they the ICO and EDPS will continue to cooperate on specific projects, share information (excluding personal data) or intelligence to support their regulatory work and promote dialogue among data protection authorities and other digital regulators.
