FPF publishes generative AI checklist for developing acceptable use policies

The Future of Privacy Forum (FPF) has released a policy checklist for organisations to ensure that their employees use generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools in a way that mitigates data, security, and privacy risks, respects intellectual property rights, and preserves consumer trust. The checklist was developed after consultations with experts from over 30 cross-sector companies to understand the use cases, benefits, and harms of generative AI. The checklist is designed to be used as a starting point for organisations to develop internal policies or to ensure that their existing policies are comprehensive and robust.
