European Commission Executive Vice-President Margrethe Vestager delivered a keynote presentation marking the 20th anniversary of the European Digital Rights (EDRi) advocacy group. In her remarks, Vestager highlights how two decades of work contributing towards EU digital proposals has played a part in Europeans being more empowered when going online. In addition, the speech touched on a range of past, current and future initiatives that EDRI has and will continue to support.
