European Commission launches DMA compliance report consultation

The European Commission has opened a public consultation seeking stakeholder feedback on a draft template for EU Digital Markets Act (DMA) compliance reports. The Commission wants to ensure its compliance reports contain all relevant information to assess gatekeeper compliance with the DMA. Gatekeepers under the DMA will be designated by 6 September 2023, after which companies will have six months to comply with the DMA's obligations and produce annual compliance reports. The consultation closes on July 2023.
