Minor adjustments to the text for technical adjustments may still take place ahead of a key committee vote on 11 May, followed by a plenary vote in mid-June. In a statement, a European Parliament official said, "We have a deal now in which all groups will have to support the compromise without the possibility of tabling alternative amendments."
