EU Council propose European Health Data Space opt-out option

According to a position paper obtained by EURACTIV, the Spanish presidency of the European Council is proposing an opt-out option for the primary use of health data in emergency situations and cross-border access in the European Health Data Space (EHDS). The file is currently being reviewed by EU lawmakers who are preparing their amendments ahead of a final vote expected to take place at the end of November.
