Zoom to offer EEA data localisation and user tools to access data

Zoom has introduced a series of new privacy features and enhancements that focus on providing a streamlined and secure way for users to access their data. The new features include an option for paying customers in the European Economic Area (EEA) to keep their data within the region. This data would only be shared with US-based Zoom engineers in "exceptional circumstances." Other features include a data subject access requests tool, audit log tracking and data retention visibility, along with a dedicated European support team.
