The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) and the European Commission are organising a joint online stakeholder event on 15 October 2026 to support their work on developing guidelines on the interplay between competition and data protection. The session provides an opportunity for interested parties to contribute directly in this evolving policy area.
The event aligns with the EDPB's commitment to cross-regulatory cooperation and stakeholder engagement, as set out in its 2024-27 strategic plan and Helsinki Statement.
The call for expressions of interest for those wishing to participate will be launched in the coming weeks.
