The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) has launched a dedicated contact form for stakeholders to report potential inconsistencies in the interpretation and enforcement of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) across Europe.
Reflecting commitments in its Helsinki Statement to enhance consistency within the region, the form allows users to highlight alleged divergences between national positions and those of the EDPB.
In a separate announcement, the EDPB has published an update to its One-Stop-Shop (OSS) case digest on the rights to object and erasure. The project, part of the Support Pool of Experts programme, aims to support cooperation among data protection authorities (DPAs).
Training Announcement: Freevacy offers a range of independent data protection qualifications from IAPP and BCS. Our certified courses are available at foundation and practitioner levels and cover multiple legal jurisdictions, data protection operations management, and the implementation of complex privacy solutions in technical environments.
