EDPB adopts first dispute resolution decision under GDPR Article 65

In its 41st plenary session, the European Data Protection Board has issued its first dispute resolution decision under Article 65 of the GDPR. The EDPB ruled that the Irish DPC can move forward with its final decision against Twitter for alleged GDPR violations "which will be addressed to the controller, without undue delay and at the latest one month after the EDPB has notified its decision." The board was asked to resolve disagreements between the DPC and objections raised by concerned supervisory authorities over the earlier draft decision.
