Norwegian DPA declares Google Analytics use legal

Datatilsynet, the Norwegian data protection authority (DPA), has reached a final decision concerning the legality of Google Analytics. The DPA determined the use of Google Analytics has been illegal until now following the introduction of the EU-US Data Privacy FrameworkThe announcement comes after the DPA issued a preliminary ruling in March indicating that using Google Analytics violates the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
