EU Data Act adopted by the Council of the European Union

On Monday, 27 November, the Council of the European Union adopted the Data Act, a law requiring manufacturers and service providers to allow their users to access and reuse the data generated by their products or services. The regulation will be published in the Official Journal of the EU in the coming weeks and will become effective 20 days after publication.
