Amazon has filed an appeal against the record (proposed) €746 million EU GDPR fine handed down by the Luxembourg Data Protection Authority in July. The challenge was submitted to Luxembourg's Administrative Tribunal. While declining to comment on the appeal, Amazon referred back to a prior statement noting there was neither a data breach nor unlawful exposure of personal data to third parties justifying the penalty.
