International Counter Ransomware Initiative met for third meeting in US

On Tuesday, 31 October, the International Counter Ransomware Initiative (CRI) held its third meeting in Washington D.C. with 50 members in attendance. The main topics of discussion during the two-day event included building collective resilience against ransomware, working to counter the illicit finance that supports the ransomware ecosystem, and collaborating with the private sector to prevent ransomware attacks. The CRI members also discussed the importance of international cooperation in addressing all aspects of the ransomware threat.
