UN special rapporteur to examine children’s privacy

The UN Special Rapporteur on the right to privacy is examining children's privacy rights. The focus will be on "how privacy affects the evolving capacity of the child and the growth of autonomy, and what factors enhance or constrain this development." Submissions related to the privacy rights of children under 18 are being sought from interested stakeholders up until 30th September. A report will be presented to the Human Rights Council in March 2021.
