Parliament Committee opens inquiry into data sharing

Parliament's Science and Technology Committee has launched an inquiry called The right to privacy: Digital data to investigate data sharing between public bodies and other industry organisations. The inquiry will explore how data is currently being used and shared throughout the government, the public sector and industry, against the need to balance people's privacy with the need for public benefit.
