NHS to begin trial of an ethical AI project

The NHS in England is to begin a trial to eliminate biases in healthcare AI applications. Using a new Algorithmic Impact Assessments (AIA) programme, designed by the Ada Lovelace Institute, researchers will have to address and tackle the risk of inequalities in systems before they can access NHS data.
