Jade Leung appointed AI advisor to the Prime Minister

The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) and AI Security Institute (AISI) have announced that ASAI Chief Technology Officer, Jade Leung, has been appointed as the Prime Minister's new artificial intelligence (AI) adviser. In her role, Leung will report directly to the Prime Minister and the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation, and Technology. Leung's primary responsibility will be to help position the UK as a leader in harnessing transformative AI for economic growth. She will split her time between Number 10 and the AI Security Institute, working closely with the government to unlock the benefits of the technology.
