Whistleblower alleges Apple spies on employees' iPhones

The Information Commissioner's Office is investigating claims made by a whistleblower that Apple was able to access personal information on employees' phones. A 54-page privacy complaint against Apple, made by Ashley Gjøvik, a former senior Apple engineer, alleges years of unlawful data collection and invasion of employee privacy spanning "years and multiple countries". The complaint has been lodged with the ICO and the Data Protection Commission in Ireland, according to The Telegraph.
