Zoom announces end-to-end out encryption

Six-months after committing to fix its privacy issues, Zoom has finally announced it can offer end-to-end encryption, which it will begin rolling out next week. 

Update: The Register reports that Zoom adds end-to-end encryption for all, for free, with some caveats and restrictions.
