Reports emerge fitness brand Under Armour suffered ransomware attack

21/01/2026 | The Register

Have I Been Pwned, a website that allows people to check whether their personal data has been compromised by data breaches, said that 72.7 million Under Armour (UA) accounts were affected by an alleged ransomware attack in November. According to a post last week, the cache of stolen data includes names, email addresses, dates of birth, genders, geographic locations, and details of previous purchases.

Claims of a ransomware attack first emerged two months ago after the Russian-speaking hacking group Everest threatened to release data stolen from UA unless it paid an undisclosed ransom within seven days.
