Government not currently planning to share UK patient data

Stephen Lorimer, head of public sector data for the DCMS confirmed at a recent event "There are no moves right now to make medical records part of the Digital Economy Act within government." Elsewhere, however, minutes from a Public Service Delivery Review Board meeting show that such a move was under consideration.
