François Pellegrini, the rapporteur for the French data protection authority (DPA), the CNIL, has recommended a €6 million fine for Apple's alleged breach of privacy rules. The recommendation comes after Lobby group France Digitale lodged a complaint against Apple after it failed to apply the same App Tracking Transparency policy rules to its own apps.
