In a statement to the London Stock Exchange, Capita has reported its recent cyberattack will cost up to £20 million. The company said, "Capita expects to incur exceptional costs of approximately £15m to £20m associated with the cyber incident, comprising specialist professional fees, recovery and remediation costs and investment to reinforce Capita's cyber security environment."
Earlier this month, the pensions regulator warned 300 hundred pensions providers to check if they have experienced a data breach connected to the Capita breach.
