Big Tech sues California over Children's Code

In a turn of events that will surprise no one, an Internet association made up of leading technology companies such as Amazon, Google, Meta, TikTok, and Twitter has opened legal proceedings against the state of California to block its Age-Appropriate Design Code Act. The case being made is that the children's code violates freedom of speech rights protected under the First Amendment and other federal laws by requiring online platforms and service providers to "act as roving Internet censors at the State's behest."
