TikTok appeals €345m DPC fine in CJEU's General Court

TikTok is challenging the €345 million data privacy fine and compliance order issued by the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC) last month. The popular video-sharing platform with over 1 billion users worldwide confirmed it has filed an appeal in the General Court of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) against the penalty decision and has also launched a legal challenge in Ireland's High Court against the DPC and Ireland's Attorney General.
