Irish DPC under fire over outdated software

More criticism has been directed towards the Data Protection Commission in Ireland from privacy activists who argue that its IT systems are ill-equipped for the task. FOI requests filed by the Irish Council for Civil Liberties found that the DPC has not implemented a new core system to cope with the demands of the EU GDPR, despite acknowledgement such an overhaul would be necessary.
