Uber data leak, questions raised into surveillance of former TfL boss

A massive cache of 124,000 confidential Uber files has been leaked to The Guardian. The files reveal how the ride-hailing service consistently broke laws, misled law enforcement, exploited violence towards drivers and lobbied governments in pursuit of global expansion. Amid the furore, former London transport commissioner Sir Peter Hendy has raised questions as to whether Uber unlawfully accessed his journey records.
