Tony Blair wants to let patients access health records through NHS App

As the NHS approaches its 75th birthday, former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair is arguing for radical change or the service will continue to decline. The revolution he envisions will require the NHS to embrace technology and data to transform its relationships with patients. Every patient should be given a health account on the NHS app, in which they can access their test results, appointments and treatments. The app should also connect to personal fitness devices to collate other health data so that the NHS can provide tailored information empowering patients to take ownership of their health.
