Privacy groups concerned over social distancing tracking

Privacy campaigners, Big Brother Watch, issued a warning over the plan to track the effectiveness of social distancing using mobile phone data. The policy must be carried out under “radical transparency” for fear the government with authoritarian tendencies has the potential overstep in times of a national crisis.
