Police and CPS cease using mobile phone consent forms in rape cases

After only being in use for a year the Police and CPS been forced into a major U-turn over the use of digital data extraction consent forms in sexual assault cases. This follows a case funded by the Centre for Women’s Justice that claimed use of the forms were unlawful, discriminatory and intrusive. Read the ICO Statement about digital consent forms.
