NHS vaccine booking website data breach

The NHS is revising the COVID-19 vaccinations self-service booking process after a "seriously shocking failure" leaked medical data from the site. The website is designed to allow individuals to book an appointment using their NHS number or basic identity information. However, users' vaccination status is disclosed in the process, allowing anyone with basic personal details of a friend, colleague or stranger to find out what should be confidential medical information.
