Moody's warns UK water companies at risk of cyberattack

A recent report from credit rating agency Moody's has warned that water companies are at an "elevated risk" from cyber attackers as hackers increasingly focus on infrastructure companies, including water and wastewater treatment firms. The report also stressed that if malicious actors gain access to operational technology systems, it could impair drinking water or wastewater treatment facilities, which could pose a significant risk to society.
