Louis Vuitton reports UK customer data stolen in cyberattack
11/07/2025 | The Guardian
Luxury retailer Louis Vuitton has confirmed that personal data belonging to customers from its UK operations was compromised during a cyberattack that took place on 2 July. An unauthorised third party accessed systems, obtaining names, contact details, and purchase history, although no financial data was compromised. The breach follows a similar attack on its Korean operation last week and marks the third such incident for LVMH within three months after Christian Dior Couture also experienced an attack in May. Louis Vuitton has advised affected customers to be vigilant for phishing and fraud attempts and has notified relevant authorities, including the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
