Facebook settles Cambridge Analytica data privacy US lawsuit

Facebook has agreed in principle to settle a four-year-old US federal class-action lawsuit and pay damages after letting third parties access user data. The third parties include Cambridge Analytica. The financial terms of the settlement have not been disclosed as the parties requested 60 days to finalise the settlement in writing.
