CIA under Trump discussed assassinating Julian Assange

Like a plot from a James Bond movie, CIA officials have confirmed discussing whether to abduct and assassinate WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange during the Trump administration. The kidnapping and killing Assange plot took place in 2017 while the Australian activist was entering his fifth year sheltering in the Ecuadorian embassy. Then CIA Director Mike Pompeo and other top officials were furious about the publication of a set of CIA hacking tools by WikiLeaks, a breach the agency deemed to be the biggest data loss in its history
