Babylon Health GP app data breach

A user alerted Babylon Health of a data breach involving confidential patient information after finding close to 50 recordings of appointments not related to him. Later, Babylon confirmed a small number of UK users could see each other’s sessions and that the problem was a software error, which has now been resolved. Health secretary, Matt Hancock admitted he was unaware of a data breach involving confidential patient information at his own GP practice.
