Apple launches health data privacy TV advert and white paper

Apple is launching a new ad campaign and tv commercial highlighting the importance of protecting personal health data. Actress and comedian Jane Lynch narrates the commercial, which aims to raise awareness about the need for privacy protection in an era where people share more and more information online. Apple claims its built-in privacy features offer users peace of mind that their health data is secure within the Apple ecosystem. 

The iPhone maker has also published a white paper detailing how it helps protect data stored in the Health app on iPhone and in HealthKit.
